I agree. I NEVER want to be in a place like that!
point well taken. however, there are certainly some places which are happier and some which are more depressing than others. also, its one of those things where you have to make the best of the situation you're given. some people do not have the option to stay with their families or do not even families who can take care of. sooooo...if someone had to go to one (for whatever reason), it would be a good idea to make the best of the situation. sort of a "bloom where you're planted" thing. that being said, i personally would rather stay in my own home. and mama, i have NO intention of putting you in a rest home or nursing home. as i've said before, you will always have a place with cory and i and our family. should it ever be needed.
I wouldn't want to be a burden on anyone, but I wouldn't want to be in a nursing home either.
